We are on a mission to solve problems by:
- Promoting the teaching profession and reading culture.
- Continuous engagement in social mobilisation and call to action via ‘Sponsor a Child Scheme’.
- Strengthening the infrastructures of educational institutions.
- Harnessing globally, the expertise of professionals especially those in education and construction industries including related fields through volunteerism in execution of CMF projects.
- Continuous engagement in advocacy at all fronts possible in pushing the challenges of lack of access to quality education and affordable safe shelter to the front burner of every discourse and/or action plan by both private and public entities as well as individuals.
- Engaging in fundraising events and activities including profitable investments to grow the Foundation’s funds.
- Collaborations with corporate/individual partners and international donor agencies.
- Other useful and relevant technique/s that may be conceived in the future and as approved by the Board of Trustees.
WHAT WE DO:
- We promote and strengthen access to quality Western Education up to tertiary institution level especially for the girl-child.
- We sponsor skill-based education for the unemployed.
- We collaborate with other Non-Governmental Organisations with similar interests and values.
- We encourage volunteerism as a means of bridging the gap in affordable and valuable human capital in educational and housing sectors.
- We improve on unsafe shelters, hostels and classroom blocks.
- We provide shelter, hostels, Library facilities and classroom blocks for the underprivileged.
OUR ACTIVITIES:
- Scholarship scheme.
- Capacity building of teachers at all levels.
- Construction and renovation of libraries, classroom and hostel blocks for schools or houses for needy individuals.
- Trainings, Seminars and Workshops for education stakeholder.
- Talk shows aimed at building hope and confidence of youths in education.
- Support for tuition-free or low tuition schools (e.g. free books & uniforms).
- Offer of research grants in education related fields.
OUR VISION:
To promote QUALITY Education and provide SAFE & AFFORDABLE Shelter for the underprivileged especially the girl-child and widows respectively in our home Country for a start and in other nations in Sub-Saharan Africa.
